More
salads doesn't mean more salad.
More
salads means more variety but some bowls
can become empty and that's bad.
Four
good robust salads is an excellent choice.
Many
will try to draw you in with the offer of 7 salads - even
more.
Often some of these items are 'cop-out', ie. bowl of
lettuce,
bowl of beetroot, bowl of cucumber.
Choosing
a few good value salads and opening your own tin
of Beetroot is thrifty.
MEAT
The
more choices of meat you offer the more each guest will inquire about the different types and then spend time
deliberating their choices, this will extend the serving
time considerably.
One
red and one white presents ready choice which enhances
proceedings.
Beef
& Pork are the best roasting type meats, they also
provide you with the best value for money.
Don't
be misled by others who are unable to transport perfectly
cooked HOT MEAT - our meat is sensational. Our self-serve carved
meats don't come 'swimming' in gravy, and are as nice as if we cooked
them on-site, guaranteed!
SPITS
There
is no longer a very good reason to put a
Spit Machine on-site. Why?
Spit
machines create 'mile-long' queues.
There
is no flexibility to stipulated eating time.
Spits
are modern and have canopies that hide the cooking
process.
Once
converted for carving, Spits can no longer keep the
meat warm.
The
reason for the celebration is the focal point, not the
Spit.
